What we do
PointSmart helps travelers maximize the value of their credit-card points and miles when booking flights and hotels. Enter your cards and current point balances, search a trip, and PointSmart shows you side-by-side: which card earns the most on this purchase, real flight and hotel options from Duffel, and a per-card recommendation on whether to redeem points now or pay cash and save them for a higher-value redemption later.
Why we built it
The travel rewards space is fragmented. Cardholders typically don't know which of their cards earns the most on a given purchase, what their points are actually worth on the redemption they're about to make, or whether a different card would have been a better fit. PointSmart turns that decision into a 30-second calculation backed by real-time inventory and the published earn-rates of every major US travel card.

How we make money
PointSmart is free to use. We earn commissions when users click through to partner sites (Booking.com, Hotels.com, Agoda, Skyscanner, Kayak, etc.) and complete a booking, or when users apply for and are approved for a credit card via the links we provide. These commissions do not influence which card or which redemption strategy we recommend — recommendations are derived from each card's published earn rate and the math of the trip you searched. What we are not
PointSmart is not a travel agent, not a credit-card issuer, and not a financial advisor. We display information and offer recommendations to help you decide; the actual booking and the actual card application happen on the issuer's or merchant's website, on their terms. Always verify pricing, availability, and card terms on the official site before you book or apply.
